If you only need document collection, yes. Intake is free for up to 10 clients and $19/month for unlimited, billed monthly. TaxDome starts at $700 per seat per year on a 3-year commitment and has no monthly option.
Partly. TaxDome has no-login upload and e-sign links, but uploads from those links land in a separate guest account, and everything else goes through the portal login. In Intake, clients never create an account.
Not all of it. Intake doesn't do workflow pipelines, time tracking or IRS transcripts. Many firms use Intake just for collecting documents, forms and signatures alongside the tax software they already have.
